This aggregation matters because it reframes climate resilience not as a top-down infrastructure challenge but as a distributed, place-based practice. The projects featured — many led by Indigenous, Black, and Latino organizations — operate at the intersection of energy justice and grid reliability, often deploying distributed energy resources that serve dual purposes: reducing emissions and maintaining critical services during outages.
